The original Skyline R33 GT-R, as sourced specifically for Tokyo Drift - Fast Furious 3 by Newera Imports. As originally featured in the scene where Han's Veilside fortune RX-7 finds this Skyline and drifts around it several times.....This particular Skyline GT-R was originally supplied as an unmodified low mileage example - then modified in California, before use in the film. There were 2 of these created, one for the feature you see in the film, the other for filming inside, from the rear. We have both cars available as stock now.
Modifications: This is a genuine low mileage Skyline (R33) GT-R for the discerning person who wants a unique and very eye catching GT-R. It's not an example that's had significant tuning modifications. Changes made are purely cosmetic with custom house of Kolor paintwork and unique rims! A set unique stylish ( very expensive) 19" Volk Racing CE28N forged alloy wheels were specially made for this car by RAYS. This finish is not usually available for sale, nor even to special order. They suit the car perfectly. Some progressive sports suspension springs have also been fitted, to give the car a lower stance. Tyres are Toyo items - Toyo were official suppliers of all tyres used in the making of the film.
Main Specifications: As standard, Brakes are Brembo at each corner. Boost is controlled by the standard ECU to 0.84 Bar. Also included as standard: Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, ABS, velour seats, privacy rear windows, rear wiper, adjustable rear spoiler, original full set of fitted (R34 GT-R) mats, etc. Note that as a 1996 model, a later type steering wheel is fitted in combination with a passenger SRS airbag, also introduced in 1996. Engine Drive: Excellent oil pressure (4.5kg/cm2 at idle when cold, 3kg/cm2 when at normal operating temperature. The clutch feels as if it has plenty of life remaining (Standard unit). Brake discs are each almost like new! Test driving this example, I found it felt tight and very together. Idle is very smooth from start up, no rattles or squeaks from the interior, good smooth braking stability. It feels like a car that's never been driven hard, which is the case. This has also been a non smoker's car since new. This car's had a complete respray of course, as part of it's use in the FF3 Tokyo Drift film. There is a small scratch on each rear quarter, which may polish out. The front splitter has been scratched and repainted since the complete colour change. This splitter could do with being resprayed again, so this will be included in the full UK en.
