The Nissan Stagea Turbo is extremely rare in RS Four S spec - This model has a factory fitted 5 speed manual with a Skyline R33 GT-R based 4WD system.
As with the GT-R, drive is usually to the back wheels, with the Atessa system sending drive to the front wheels when the electronics sense that the rear wheels are slipping. There is also a HICAS system to help control rear end slides. The Figaro was designed by Shoji Takahashi as part of the Nissan special project's team (Pike factory) to celebrate their 50th anniversary at a time when selling cars at a loss wasn't necessarily a concern by their bean counters. This is an extremely rare Revision 5 T-Bar Turbo MR2 - One of only around 150 built by Toyota before production stopped in 1999.
It's the first we're importing in over 3 years - they're that rare and difficult to source in perfect condition like this, nowadays! This car's in concours condition with totally original specification throughout. With absolutely zero underside corrosion and pristine paintwork it's been garaged most of it's life.. Until 1998, each of the larger Japanese car manufacturers offered a wide range of Turbo Diesel vehicles in the form of 4WD off road style and from the early 1990's Diesel People carriers too. After 1998 however, few Diesels were sold in Japan because of impending legislation thereafter to ban such cars from being registered in major cities.
