This GT-R has been improved with stage 1 tuning to give it approximately 350 bhp yet still allow it to remain easily drivable and usable for every day use. This a low genuine mileage example with excellent spec and a high quality colour change to a gorgeous metallic blue colour! It's also of very low genuine mileage - so there's plenty of life left in this top example of an R32 GT-R Skyline.
Aesthetic improvements: The paintjob on this car is the most stunning thing about it. An excellent choice of colour! It's not an original Nissan shade, but suits this R32 GT-R perfectly! Quality of paint is excellent. Note the door shuts, underside of bonnet and bootlid, etc. have been repainted. Cost of this in Japan is approx. £2,500! Note that as the front lip is scratched and damaged, rather that repairing and repainting, as it costs us the same - we are fitting a genuine Carbon fibre HRD front lip as part of our work in preparing this GT-R!
Near new and unmarked lightweight forged alloy Rays Gram Lights alloy wheels of size 18" with Dunlop Direza DZ101 tyres less than half worn are fitted at each corner. Wheel nuts are Rays annodised items, complete with unequal sided locking nut on each rim. The key for these is also with the car. There are also glowing wheel caps fitted - easily removed if preferred! Performance Improvements: Whilst not stressing the engine excessively and allowing it to remain drivable as a daily use car, this GT-R has had mild modifications to enhance it. A pair of HKS Direct Drive induction filters have replaced the standard airbox. The intercooler is a standard unit. An earthing kit is fitted to improve spark plug efficiency. To further improve breathing, the exhaust system has been uprated with a high flow large bore steel front pipe and an HKS Super Dragger exhaust from the cat back. The ECU has been replaced with a Mines Rom rechipped unit. Although the Mines ECU can be used in the UK, to maximise and safeguard performance, we are including a brand new Apexi Power FC & controller with this car - included in the price. We are also able to supply a catalyst replacement pipe inexpensively, boost controller and other modifications such as an uprated fuel pressure regulator, injectors and fuel pump, or even uprated Nismo or HKS turbos (For further information click on www.neweraparts.com). Please note that although we are including the Power FC as part of the car's price, mapping is not included. We are able to arrange mapping with GT Art on the customer's behalf.
Suspension Coilovers are HKS Hypermax. These are fully adjustable. An excellent kit for Skylines, as they're compliant for road use, yet they give excellent control in combination with silent pillow ball top mounts. Being HKS, they're also servicable in the UK when required, unlike some brands. An alloy front strut brace is also fitted.
Standard equipment includes: ABS, Hicas 4 wheel steering, Atessa 4WD, Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, remote controlled door mirrors with retract mode, rear wiper, velour seats, factory tinted privacy rear glass, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, interior, carpets, indicator stalk, light switch, pedal rubbers, oil pressure etc. - all indicate low wear.
Interior: The front seats have been replaced with R33 GT-R original items in good condition (Please note - these would appear to have come from 2 different cars - Cloth is very slightly different in shade between the two - although not very noticable). Carbon leather styled gear lever and handbrake gaiters have been fitted. A Nismo cigar lighter has replaced the original. Nismo original floor mats are fitted. There's a Momo steering wheel and also an alloy Veilside gearknob. For sounds, there's a decent quality Carrozzeria single DIN unit fitted as well as uprated speakers with remote tweeters at the front. ICE is supplied free of charge with the car. Please note that the original speedometer is documented as having been changed at 41,500km for a new replacement, so actual total mileage of this car is 41,330 miles from new. The existing speedo will be calibrated to show this as the total, whilst the car's being prepared by ourselves.
Condition: The interior is in excellent condition. The door trim inserts have become unstuck (Common on R32's) and will be re-glued into position. There's a small mark on the passenger door trim which will need repair. We will also ask an interior repair specialist to do his best to repair a small burn mark on the headrest of the passenger seat. Please note: There are some light scratches to the centre of the steering wheel, too.
The rear screen seal is slightly lifted on one corner. This can be completely replaced, but will be expensive, as the seal costs approx £150.00 from Nissan and would require removal of the back window to change. We recommend leaving it as is, since this is only a minor cosmetic fault.
Auction Grade is R-A. This is the grade given for a car which has had a cosmetic repair, such as this example, where the n/s rear quarter panel has previously been replaced. Quality of the repair is good and it's clear from the inside that the boot floor wasn't damaged - hence cosmetic grade. The bodywork was originally black, but has been changed at high expense to metallic blue. As shown by pictures, condition of paintwork is very good.
We washed this car and checked the bodywork thoroughly noting all faults. These, as with each car we supply, will be repaired whilst we prepare it in the UK, so the car will be presented in A1 condition: The front lip spoiler is badly scratched and chipped. As repairing it would cost the same, instead to improve the car - we will be replacing this with a new wet carbon (See pictures) front lip - of the same design as standard. Much smarter in appearance and being carbon it's resistant to stone chips too!
There's a very light pin dent on the driver's front wing. This will be professionally removed. On the driver's door there are some light small scratches, also on the n/s sill and on the rear bumper. These will be professionally touched in. The front bumper has some scratches on the n/s corner, so this will be repainted. Note that as the whole front bumper will be painted, it would be an opportune time to fit Nismo intercooler vents and a bonnet lip if desired. We can supply these inexpensively too. Please note - Oil has been replaced approx 2,500 km ago. We will be changing the engine oil as part of our preparation whilst giving the car a complete PDI check and carrying out any other maintenance required.
Engine: Excellent oil pressure (5/cm2 at idle when cold). Clutch feels as if it has plenty of life remaining. Brake discs are project Mu slotted rotors at each corner and not worn much at all. We test drove this example for around 10 minutes drive and found it felt tight and very together. It pulls strongly from around 3,500 rpm all the way through the power range and is making approximately 350 bhp with current spec. Makes for a very quick road car!
Total cost of modifications & paintwork to this car cost the last owner approx. £6,500. All signs show this car has been well loved and modifications carefully selected to enhance the performance whilst remaining usable for daily driving - Expect this to be a very quick and fun car to drive with perfect poise and instant response.
