The Revised 2nd edition Forester Sti with 280 bhp was introduced in 2004 with a major facelift as seen on this available example from 2006. As usual, the Japanese kept the best for themselves, with the UK, Europe, USA etc only getting much lesser equipped models, the closest & hottest for other markets being a good 80+ bhp down on power, yet alone other performance enhancements.

The Subaru Technica International Type R is THE most interesting and sought after of the classic shape Imprezas. The classic coupe is the connoisseur`s Impreza - finely honed for maximum performance and capability, this is the most impressive of the breed. STi Version 6 Type R denotes this is a lightweight competition spec. 2 door model. This version 6 model was only made for the Japanese market, with the UK P1 model sold in UK during the same period, but of lesser spec. The Version 6 was the very last of the breed, only sold in small numbers in Japan. It's now a collector's piece here, with examples such as this completely corrosion free example being particularly sought after.

This Celica is fitted with a rare and expensive optional bodykit from Toyota (made from ABS Plastic). It comprises: Front lip spoiler, rear Valance, Rear Spoiler, Side Skirts. This bodykit option alone is worth well over £2000 in Japan and certainly not available in the UK. Fit & Finish are perfect - as can be expected from Toyota. Original option 16" alloys are fitted complete with 4 near tyres. Also, this is a model fitted with (unavailable in UK) Super-Strut suspension. Basically a more sophisticated setup than in UK, affording even better handling and composure than UK cars.
